Pullman City - Die lebende Westernstand - Eging am See/Passau
One of the top and craziest rockabilly bands in Hungary – Tom White & the Mad Circus is now propagating a new, festival show band set-up of 4 members, with doublebass, harp, drum and guitar. With an overwhelming stage presence, the band is ready to stun the audience. The well-arranged wind section, the clashing slap bass and the incredibly hot harmonica solos will sweep everyone off their feet and won't let the dancefloor remain empty for granted. On their craziest concerts while the bass player shreds on his flaming instrument, the guitarist amuses the audience with some insane somersaults. This is really a mad circus! The band’s double bass player is the marvelous Kéri Kolos from Veszprém, who is the one and only jazz graduated rockabilly slapbass player in Hungary. The harp player is Tom White who is one of the most energetic harp players in Europe. The drummer is Buzsik Tamás, who also has artist degree in jazz music university. The guitar player is Ricky, who is only 23 years old, but he has been in rockabilly world for 23 years. In 2018 the band participated the Hungarian X-Factor, got into the live shows, where more than 1 million people watched them every week in Hungary. Many people who hadn’t know this style before fell in love in it and start to follow the band. As a reference they have lately received its nineth invitation to one of Hungary's greatest summer music festivals, SZIGET 2016. Besides that, in 2019 they seemed to be the most occupied rockabilly-rock'n'roll band of Hungary with 130 live shows over the year. They hope this number won't decrease this year either, thanks to You!
