The Western town experience
Welcome to the living Western town

Pullman City, the “living Western town” in Eging am See, is a leisure and theme park situated idyllically by the Bavarian Forest nature park and easy to reach via the A3 motorway between Deggendorf and Passau. Children and adults have been experiencing the Lower Bavarian “Wild West” here since 1997 – with archery, gold panning, pony riding or Western rides, live country music, line dancing and the romance of the campfire.

Pullman City is a day trip destination for adults and children, for country and Western fans, for horse lovers and dancing enthusiasts, for fans of American history, motorcyclists, truckers, campers and coach travellers, for families, companies, groups and clubs. Anyone coming to Pullman City, gets a map and information about the different attractions and accommodation options as well as the current show programme from reception or the Town office.

Shows just like in the Wild West

During the season a variety-packed, non-violent show programme with cowboys, Indians and free-running bison, with trick riding, knife throwing, lassoing, horse trainers and magicians is shown from spring to late autumn.

A constant stream of highlights

Events like the various Country Music and Rockabilly Festivals in the spring and autumn, the US Car Meet over the long public holiday weekend in May, the new Quad Meet in mid-June, the Harley Stampede in July and the Western Horse Festival in August round off what we offer.

Paradise for children

Over 200,000 square meters of the Western town’s hilly and partly wooded grounds there is also the Little Pullman adventure playground and the Adventure Trail, a low rope course with lots of stops for climbing, swinging and balancing. In the school holidays and at weekends it’s all about arts and crafts, games and torch-lit hikes at the Pullman Kids Club.

The authentic area brings Western history to life

The heart of Pullman City is the authentic area. “Hobbyists” from near and far have built simple wooden huts there to portray and live America’s history with a passion. The women, men and children take on an identity from the period between 1740 and 1880 with the clothing, jewellery, crafts and everything that goes along with this.

A city with all that goes with it

Pullman City holiday park next to the theme park, the elegant “Palace Hotel” in Main Street, the log cabins and lodges with campfires, the tipis and authentic tents and the campsite next door offer more than 1,000 opportunities to stay overnight in total. The many restaurants, bars and cafés invite you to eat, drink and while away the hours. A saloon, steakhouse, pizzeria and the Cantina Mexicana leave you wanting for nothing. Just like in a real town, besides eating and sleeping you can also shop in Pullman City. Anyone interested in Indian jewellery, historical or everyday Western clothing, cowboy hats and boots, will quickly find what they are looking for in the stores on Main Street. Just like every other town, Pullman City has its own church where you can even get married.
