Pullman City is situated in the municipality of Eging am See between Passau and Deggendorf, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest.
In contrast to many other theme parks, American history is relived every day in Pullman City, just like in a Western town 150 years ago.
In the authentic area, the heart of Pullman City, America's history from the era 1740 to 1880 is vividly depicted. Here, visitors are offered a comprehensive insight into the self-built, museum-like buildings with inhabitants, who are happy to provide information about the era and the lifestyle back then.
Young and old guests are wowed every day with a magic show, a Western stunt show with trick lassoing, together with a spectacular knife and tomahawk show, Indian stunt show, Indian dances, culture and mythology, the action-packed trick riding show, country music, horse shows and lots more.
The highlight of the daily show programme during the season is the American History Show that has been taking place since 1998, in which visitors can trace America's history in several show scenes incl. cattle drives and with North American bisons running through Main Street. Every year, this show is presented bigger and better, always having a new focus.
Our visitors can go on horseback ride within the Western town and surrounding grounds, under the guidance of qualified personnel. Children can ride on ponies or observe domestic animals up close in the animal enclosures. Carriage rides on covered wagons or stagecoaches are also offered.
The best live country music is offered every weekend on stage in the “Music Hall” or the “Black Bison Saloon” next door.
The outdoor grounds with a tipi camp, log cabins, “Goldwash Camp”, barbecue areas, “Fort Pullman” and carriage routes are fully integrated into the surrounding nature. This includes forests, meadows and ponds. For visitors there is the option of hiring an original Indian tipi, authentic tent, log cabin or room in “Fort Pullman” and spending a few great nights in nature with the romance of the campfire.
A children's adventure playground was also incorporated into “Fort Pullman”. Here, young visitors in particular have the opportunity of practising horseshoe throwing, archery and lassoing, by advance registration.
Pullman City also makes sure you don't go hungry of course: “Ice and Coffeehouse with Bakery”, “Foodcorner”, “Pizzeria La Piazza”, “Longhorn Steakhouse” and “Cantina Mexicana”. In Southern-style “Scarletts”, you can find a sophisticated café and restaurant with roof-top terrace with a splendid view over the Western town.
The town needs its own church of course. “St. Joseph's Church” is a small church built completely out of wood in olden style. Many couples say “I do” here every year.
